The Intimate Landscape

So often what is just below the toes goes overlooked. The typical goal of the landscape photographer is to capture the drama of the grand landscape. When special care is made to observe otherwise unnoticed patterns and forms on a micro scale, nature's abstract brilliance appear on the sides of boulders or upon a large sandstone slab.
