Eyjafallajökull (Icelandic for Island-Mountain Glacier) is situated in southern Iceland near Skógar. A stratovolcano, Eyjafallajökull is unique because it is located beneath a 100 square kilometer glacial ice cap. This image is a 6 minute exposure, taken at midnight during the Icelandic Summer.
